    I created the subheadings back when I was in law school because it helped me understand the ORS better. But I didn't know that anyone else ever used them or even noticed! And now I've just completed this major software upgrade, and have been adding the ORS features back in. It's been good hearing how people use the site.

    This is nearly finished. 2009 and 2007 are almost ready, and earlier ones are possible too if there's demand for them.

    Yes, this is an excellent idea that we've been thinking about as well. An attorney practicing in Portland, for example, may need to be aware of Portland, Multnomah county, and Trimet codes & regs in addition to state & federal laws.

    In a sense, this implies a "vertical" coverage, in addition to the horizontal coverage of multiple states. The difficult part is that this would seem to be dramatically more difficult to implement. In computer science terms, the problem goes from "N" to "N squared" in complexity. Still thinking about a solution to this.
